A few months ago, I found someone on CGN making a conversion kit to do this but ive abandoned the project since.

Any ideas where i can source some of the parts i need?

Ugh, those stocks are grotesque... I like the SPX's with the standard stocks. Much better looking and conducive to the safety design. Pistol grip is a huge fail with a mossberg.

I have a 930 HD that I have put some work into. I definately love this gun and that is saying something because I am a die hard Remington fan when it comes to shotguns.

I like this gun because it cycles every kind of ammo I have put through it and because its so much lighter than an 1100. With the mods I have done to mine, I have dropped recoil down to about the same as an SKS.

I just wished that there were some nicer stocks out there for this gun. The 590 stocks will not fit. The only stocks out there for us are the standard one or the Choate stock.

I emailed Hogue and begged them to start making some stocks for this thing, but they said that they don't have any plans to do that in the near future.

It is also worth noting that you can not put that much of a shorter stock on this one because of the buffer. There is only about an inch to take away in there, and its a fairly involved mod. Removing the recoil pad and putting a hard butt plate on would save you about as much LOP.

Pistol grips on Mossbergs are epic fails do to the safety position

i neve rthought about that but you are totally right! i have alwasy liked the mossberg safety position for times when it is important to be able to apply the safety easily. although i dont htink it switches off safety as quickly as the regular style.

The 930 safety is a poor design. You can accidentally disengage it if your one handing the shotgun muzzle up climbing over deadfall. I never use it. My gun is permanently on "fire" when up front or the chamber is clear. An oversized safety is retarded.
The houge stock would be a great addition.

Fast as you can pull the trigger man.

The 930 is an amazing rig. I'm very, very happy with mine. I don't regret it one bit. GREAT buy....

That muzzle seems to be climbing good. Try off the hip when dumping it like that.
The 930 turned me into a Mossberg fan. I used to be all Remington.
I won't even consider an overpriced Euro trash gun...

Yaw yaw what ever, your mossberg was so last year. Now I must DANCE!

I am currently working on the same project, it is taking some time to get the 18.5 inch barrel. My only concern with this shotgun is that I have gone through 2 forearm retainers after only a couple of hundred rounds. Mossberg keeps replacing them, but it is kind of a hassle.
