As the title says I need help removing the mag tube on my cooey 60. I have it all out of the stock, washer and screw removed, and the push pin taken out.

I cannot for the life of me get the square guide that the mag tube runs through to slide out of its dove tail groove. I have got it to move side to side about 2 mm in either direction but it won't go any further. I have tried a gamer and punch type idea, oil, wd40 etc.

Help please.

I would rather suggest removing the tube from the actuator. I have done this before by taking pliers and "un-peening" the pins that hold the actuator at the end of the tube. The pins are soft so peening them for re-install is simple.

If all you want to do is remove the tube, unscrew the round piece that the stock screw goes in to., it will give you room to lift and slide the entire assembly from the receiver.

Nope. I have done all that as my op says. With the screw removed and the tiny pins taken out all it does is soon and slide back and forth. I can't get the tube entirely off the gun with out sliding the square metal peice that the screw sits in off the gun as well.
