So I just got an old Cooey Model 60 that needs to be completely refinished...but what a great shooter:D :D :D
Going to sand and oil finish the stock, all the metal parts are going to be sand blasted and then parkerized.
There are four holes drilled on the left hand side of the receiver for a scope base/mount.......where can I get one? Which one?
A quick side note, mine has no serial number:eek: Is this normal:confused:
Anothoer side note, what scope should I get to maintain the nostalgia?
Thanks for all the help:)

PS: Yes, I'll post pics when it's all done;)

I would email Epps, someone there will know. I do know they are knee deep in 60 parts, probably will have a correct scope mount too.

I am no Cooey expert, but I don't believe they ever serialed there arms. It was a different Kanada back then....

western gun parts have a mount but they were $$$$ I picked a scope and mount here on the EE for 50 bucks and yes the bipod is woth more lol Any way I used hi temp paint an baked it on the model 60 now my sons have 8&9 have a black rifle
