Hey,
I've got an old cooey 60 with an interesting problem. If I cycle rounds through it, the 2nd through last round end up with the bullet a bit smashed up. Round noses it just flattens a bit, HP's it mashes up pretty good. What seems to be happening is that when I'm closing the bolt to chamber a round, the next round pops up a bit as the loading ramp/ejector falls and then is forced back into the magazine on an angle by the bolt, causing it to mash up the bullet. I've found in i hold the loading ramp/ejector thing up (with the stock off) it doesn't do this. I've tried to figure out how to rig up a spring or something to keep a bit of upward pressure it when assembled but can't figure out how. Any advice on a way to fix this? Maybe someone can post a picture of their Cooeys action so i can see if I'm missing a piece? I love this gun, its super accurate with everything but HP's and I figure this is why!
