Cooey 600/model 60 accuracy?

Thanks for all the info...i have a good variety of ammo brands that i'm looking forward to trying out, as long as i can get 1" at 50yards then i'll be content. I only have a lever in the 22 and a pistol and was debating getting a bolt action but if the cooey shoots well enough would rather spend the money on ammo( thats only if i can find it lol). hopefully i can get out to the range in the next little while, it's been almost a year since i've shot off some rounds!

What kind of lever .22 do you have? I am looking for one, not sure what to get, I don't want one that you have to load from the end of the tube mag, I'd rather have a loading gate on the side of the receiver like a real lever gun.

Maybe you gentlemen can identify this old girl?
It looks like a compact Cooey 60 its 36" overall and a 20" barrel, a slim stock 1 1/8" wide at its widest part.

It's an old 22 that is like a Model 60 Cooey but all it says on the receiver is REPEATER .22 CAL.
I am certain its a Cooey but was it a contract gun for Eaton's or Sears or another seller?
Sorry about the crappy pictures my camera need to be replaced.

The rear sight is unusual not like any Cooey sight I have ever observed.

I've got a Henry frontier which I love... It'll shoot sub moa with the right ammo. Also all rimfire lever action rifles load from a tube, only centerfires load from a gate minus the henrys of course!

Well, I got back to my Cooey and it has a takedown screw for a flathead screwdriver, so slightly different. Once I got the receiver out of the stock I just hand tightened the screw and the bolt stayed in and moved with the mag tube.

I put it back together and it was not feeding rounds or ejecting, but it looked like the ejector was not lining up with the extractors, so I stuck the same flathead screwdriver in there and bent it over a bit...

50 rounds later and its operating perfectly!

Thanks for all the advice it looks like I got myself a great little shooter. I'm gonna put another 50 through now :)
