The factory holes on these Cooeys were for the Weaver N2 or N3 side mount. I believe the N2 accepts a 3/4" tube while the N3 is for a 7/8" tube. I have a model 60 factory drilled for a scope and on the box it says "drilled and tapped for Weaver N3 mount". I think you will have to locate used or "new old stock". Western Gun Parts may have them. They are on ebay quite frequently. Now if your gun isn't factory drilled, then it's hard to say what it takes but the Weaver side mount was popular back then. Tell me the spacing of the screw holes and I will tell you if it is for a Weaver mount.

I went to check 4 days ago and forgot---it is bad to be getting old, or maybe just forgetful; I can't remember which!
Anyhow, I have an N3 mount in my grimy hands and although your pic has a lot of glare, it does appear as though your gun is drilled for the Weaver mount. The holes on each end are 3/8" apart center to center and from outside of one hole to outside of far hole is 3 5/16"

Cabela's The .mount is a 2 part system and costs about $50. I believe Part # s are 641202 and 640087..
