Hey guys. I have an old cooey 64 semi auto .22 rifle.
I have always had failure to load and failure to extract issues with it.
After plinking today I decided to clean, and look at it.

Looking at the top of the mag, I noticed that it was worn shiny.
The bolt shows sign of the edge hitting the top of the mag.

The only solution I have thought of trying was to shim the mag holder or grind the mag a bit, maybe chamfer the bolt edge a bit.

Since there are so many of these around, what have you guys done?
Surly I am not the only one.

i adjusted ( filed) the notch on the mag that holds the clip that holds the mag in place. this lets the mag drop and the bolt slide thru thus reloading the chamber. caution though, too much is no good either.
