hi guys.... i have a cooey 64 with a wee bit of a problem..... I took it apart to clean, put it back together and everything works except the trigger assy.... when i #### it the bolt slides back, loads etc but the trigger is solid.... if i loosen the screws that are holding the assy in i hear the bolt slam forward as if i had fired it.... i have tinkered with this for hours and cant figure it out.... i looked at the breakdown on savage but it still doesnt show me what i'm missing..... i'm 100% sure i didnt lose any parts just cant figure out how it fits..... anyone else have this??? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.... thank you...

You may have a long screw holding things back ( try a washer)or the sear and disconnector are not fitting into their proper slots. Was it working before you took it apart or is it a new or different part? Did you disassemble the trigger assembly?

You are missing one (or both) of the washers for the 2 screws that hold the trigger assembly to the receiver. Without them, the screws are just to long to snug up.
