Cooey 64

Cooey was sold to winchester in 1961 and the model 64 came out in 1964. The drawings for a semi were on the board in 1958 but never developed. In his book Cooey Firearms----John Belton does not list dates or numbers for the model 64, 64A and 64B.----Cowboy

What about an end date to production? I recall reading that Cooey shut down in '75... Would like an idea of how old my 64B is.

Winchester sold to Lakefield Arms in 1979. Along with it went the rights to the 64B.It was of course labeled Lakefield 64B. Lakefield sold to Savage and the 64 still lives on----- Cowboy

Thanks for the information, I really do wish that the cooey's had more indentification markings other than just the model name.
