I've been piecing together a Cooey model 64A and I'm finally down to the last item which is a stock. I'm putting this thread out for if anyone knows someone who has a model 64 stock that's just laying around. Someone somewhere must have one just chilling in their basement or gun room with no purpose. Please let me know.

Keep an eye on the EE, or maybe post a WTB ad. I actually had such a stock, but sold it about a year ago as I never acquired the rest of the parts to assemble the rifle.

If you're familiar with Western Gun Parts out of Edmonton, they sometimes have used or take-off stocks for sale on the front counter. I know I've seen Cooey stocks there previously.

Stroll around a few gun shows.

As far as the difference in magazines goes, I don't recall there being a difference in the stock itself. The only difference would be the bottom metal. It might need to be modified to fit the release switch for the newer, metal magazines.

Sorry I can't help you more directly, but good luck in your search.

There is a heritage gun show coming up I think in two weeks so I should go check out if someone has a stock. Thanks for all your advice.
