A question for you experts out there.

I was resembling the trigger portion of the firearms but where does the spring go ?.

Not the coil one but the one with the rectangular end and two prongs for the other end .

Can someone please take a picture of video for me :):):):) .

I have a parts breakdown for the model 64. Maybe it can show you what you need to know. When my wife gets home I will have her try and take a photo of the page and send it to you. Also, I believe the Savage 64 that can be bought today is the same gun. There should be a schematic for it on the net.

I understand you're problem is solved...

I'm curious still...did you take the pins out holding the trigger assembly together? I've not "opened" the trigger group. 25+ years of 64 ownership...I've had a few different 64's but, n'er did disassemble the trigger group.

Kind of wish you snapped a pic or, two of it disassembled!

Yup the pins . Perhaps I may make a photo/video take down thing because of the lack of.
