Cooey 82 Value

Well it's a safe queen alright.
Cool to look at but l would have more use for a 223 so if anyone would like to see it l can send pics to your cell.
Just give me a day.
I'm just going with what l use now and rest shall go.

Anyone know where the Canadian Broad Arrow marking would be located on this rifle? I found a stamp on the barrel but can't make it out.

Thanks. I found the one on the pistol grip with serial number below it.
I will assume the mark on the barrel above the chamber is one as well. It's hard to make out.

Thanks for the info Bigbubba.
Looks like all three marks are there.
My serial number has one letter and two numbers.
Would is make it a early model?
Any idea what the serial numbers range from?
I just read some had a parkerized finish and not bluing, perhaps this rifle was not painted after all.

there is a facebook group for model 82 owners and they have a list of everyone's numbers, their goal is to try to figure out the numbering system that was used..... if it ever can be.

im sure they would love to know your rifle number, specially because it sounds like a odd one.

One of my 82's has the parkerized finish. I also had another that had the same finish. They were less than 100 numbers apart on the serial number. I also believe that some of these rifles may have had a sunkorite finish (which is like a thick, black paint) applied like you see on many surplus rifles.
