Cooey 84 yay or nay?

I often remind my buddy that we can't do the other guy's thinking for him. It is tricky to pin it down, but there is something nice about having a good old Cooey shotgun in your hands. People who buy them from us are always tickled pink.

Yes, but the key to that statement is NOW. People didnt buy Cooey 84's 50-75 years ago for collector purposes. They werent ever designed to be collector pieces, and they were purchased to be put to use. Today is a different story

Yes. I figured that out about 50+ years ago, when those Cooeys were still on the shelves.
 
This thread is awesome! I found an 84 in my Grandpa's attic. No rust, a bit of patina but otherwise in great shape. I haven't really looked at it much but will now for sure!

What gauge is your gun? Its funny how many Cooeys are found in attics, barns, sheds or storage rooms. No red carpet rolled out for these guns!
