Anybody know if you'd be able to find one of these still kickin around that is in Excellent condition?? Do they even exist in that condition anymore..lol..

With the case colours still clear and deep blued barrels and everything all original...I'd love to get my hands on one..:D

I got me a post in the EE if anybody wanted to find out a little more about what I'm wondering about/looking for..

Thanks..

Most of the Cooey Model 84 shotguns saw a lot of use and therefore are not in the best of shape.Having said that, every once in awhile you come across a good one at a gun show.

My farher has a really nice like new one he had since new in 28 full choke and I have a 20 full in rough looking perfect working shape soon too be restored and a 20 full 840 Winchester Western Cooey in like new shape with engraved duck's on it. Their a great gun good luck on finding one I would get more if I could.

I've seen a couple of pristine condition 84's in the last year or so. They were going for about $150. I picked my camo painted  one for $50. It's the shotgun I teach newbies with.

I have one ,things is mint shape, but its not mine,I jusdt registered it for a buddy waiting for his pal, doubt he would want to sell it though

I found a 840 at a gun show. Dude said he never used it and it sat in his safe for 10+ years. The thing looked mint. $125

I've sold one not too long ago to a woman on Ont. I picked up 4 firearms in a package deal for $350. It was in excellent condition but it was missing the butt plate. She bought it no questions asked for $175. She was just collecting Cooeys.

Wow...Seems like there are still a few lurking around...Maybe I'll luck into one sooner or later....

Pickupman....Ask your buddy if he were to sell it, what would he want for it???:D..

Thanks guys for perking up my interest in getting one even more..

I know..I want them all..:D...I had one when I was a little younger..and lended it to a friend....needless to say he didn't have as much respect for firearms as I do...End of story...breaks my heart to think about it.:(

Anyway....I really want to get one again, and of course collect a few..I have 3 winny 37A's also..... two 12's and a 20..Looking for a few more along the way..to go along with a few cooeys..

...303Lee....I just looked and it's gone...theres also a 840 there in excellent condition for the same price...but I was really hoping for the 84...dang it!!!
