Cooey bolt compatibility?

Hello, I've got an old Cooey Ace with a rather worn bolt which doesn't extract well. The bolt from my Model 75 works well in the Ace and I was wondering which models of Cooey bolts interchange. Would the Cooey 60 bolt fit?

All the single shot bolts will fit 75+39 etc.I replaced one on a Rabbit for my son.....Harold

ive noticed that the single shot bolts are "swappable"

im not sure if head spacing would be an issue with these guns. i have a sureshot and a ranger with 1 bolt between them.

The 60/600 bolts won't work. As stated, the 75/39 (and 82) could inter-swap.

Headspace is a viable concern as, the bolt's handle is the locking lug too.

I've seen some swap out easily, but also owned some that wouldn't even fit into different receivers.

I didn't realize that headspace on a rimfire might be an issue. I'm off to google to inform myself

If you don't ever want a face full of brass and hot gases, head space is important.

For all the superfluous "check the headspace" cyber-posts... Swapping/changing a bolt in anything should include a check. Many part suppliers won't even sell a bolt to a "non-smith" purchaser.

I understand the need for proper headspace on center-fire rifles but I didn't figure the same would apply to a .22. I guess I figure that if the bolt closes on a rimfire, the chances for any kind of blowback is negligible.

Not all the single shot 39-75-82 bolts will fit. The groove in the receiver where the bolt handle slides is narrower on some guns. The bolt could probably be made to fit by grinding the handle to size.

It's not the rifle with minimal headspace that is a problem, it's the one with too much headspace that can cause issues.
