Very awesome project. I currently have a soare 338 barrel blank, to do the exact same thing, but turn it into a short barrel 338 arc.
I also have another cooey Carcano with a beautiful 6.5 barrel on it, that I'm going to set back, and do a short barrel 6.5 Grendel on.
Hopefully somehwere in the near future.
