I did a 7.62x39 conversion on a Cooey Carcano last winter (details at link below). I was able to get groups around 1.5-2 MOA using a re-cycled .303 Lee-Enfield barrel. Next spring I plan to experiment with some handloads and possibly cast bullets.

I've got all the necessary pieces for that, but neither the time nor the ability to make it come together!

I have access to all the tools needed (lathes, mills, taps, dies, chamber reamers) I just don't want to Phuck it up
