Just wondering if there are any other Cooey collectors around. My first Cooey was a model 39 that was also my Dad’s first gun. Since then I have picked them up when the price is right. Finally found a model 710 in 30-06 that I am very pleased with. There was a 30-06 and a .308 available. Another collector and myself wanted them both so we agreed on one each to be fair. Hopefully I can find a reasonable.243 in the future.

I wouldn't call myself a collector of Cooey rifles and shotguns, but I do have a certain soft spot for them having owned and used many over the years. We currently have two rimfires plus two shotguns in our cabinet.

There are a few out there, some have an extensive collection.
Although everyone might not be a collector...I'm sure most of us in Canada has one or two Cooey's.

Here's a couple smaller ones.

Ive currently got a 20g and 410

I have owned a Model 64 and an Ace #1. My mom got the 64 when she passed her PAL course and I gave the Ace #1 to a friend for use dispatching animals on his trap line.

If you're on Facebook come check out our cooey page? Simply called "Cooey Collectors". Ya there's a big following.

This is exactly where I'm at. I have a soft spot for them because my family has had them for years, but I'm not a collector.

Age 9. Dad bought me the junior sized single shot at the Cormac local hardware store. $9.00 Like a fool, I later sold it.

But have since bought a similar one.

One of these days I will put a scope on a Cooey and test it for accuracy, for giggles.
