Cooey Model 35 Pump Help Please !

I picked up a nice Cooey 35 pump.I would say about 75% blueing at least.When you pump it and try to pull the safety back it just springs back to the fire position.I haven't taken it apart yet so waiting from some of you cooey guys to hopefully be able to give me a little guidance before I might really screw something up !.

It's been 20+ yrs since I've had a cooey pump and now realize there's nothing wrong with it.What I was thinking was the safety was actually the bolt release and the safety is just like on a 60-600 by locking the back half of the bolt in the receiver slot.
All is good and I'll post a couple pics later.
