Cooey Model 39 Bolt Ball

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a Cooey model 39 for super cheap but it is missing a bolt handle ball.

Can anybody tell me what size the ball is, and what size hole/thread it needs so I can fabricate one at work.

ball is 3/4" --tap drill size 11/64 ----tap #12-24 nc

That's funny because I had an old 39 with a black plastic knob on the bolt., I thought that's the way they came until I got a 75 years later. I still have that one., great gun with a steel knob.

If you can fab them you might be able to make money on EE selling them. I bought one a little while back for$8. Not a gold mine but if you can churn them out cheaply. It seems to be the part that goes missing on the Cooey.
