I have a question about my dad's old Cooey .22 cal rifle who were bought by winchester..
I would just like to verify what I found on the internet. There are no markings
to specify which rounds to use. But what I found was "short", "long" "long rifle".
In part I'm confused about is the grain on the box. They vary from 36 to 60..
Is that simply to measure how far your round may reach or its kenetic energy,
or can certain .22 calibre rifles only handle a certain grain?
I'm only looking for plinking, or target rounds for a beginer.
Thanks for your time
Geoff
