Cooey Model 60... am I an Rtard?

I did a couple of searches under Google, Youtube, and obviously these forums as well.... and nothing. I cant get the bolt out! I have tried pulling the trigger and then the bolt or pushing the trigger forward and nothing. What am I doing wrong and how do I get the bolt out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you are a Rtard! Just kidding. I asked the same question a couple of years ago. You have to remove the stock by taking off the hand nut in front of the trigger guard. Then there is a screw that looks like a piece of ready rod with a nut on it. loosen the nut and then twist the screw out until you can pull the linkage from the magazine out of a slot on the bolt and the bolt will come right out. When you reinstall the bolt, make sure you don't tighten the screw and set nut too tight (there should be about 1/8 of an inch between the screw and the magazine) or your magazine will not be able to slide and will make cycling the bolt hard. Hope it helps.

you will know if you tighten the nut too much, the bolt action won't function correctly.

I just measured the end of the bolt prior to loosening it, took the gun apart, cleaned it and then tightened it again and measured it to make sure it was at the exact same distance.

The notion that the Cooey 60/600's bolt is not as easy to remove as the Model 39/75/750 is kinda weird to wrap one's head around , at least at first...
