Cooey Model 60 loose barrel

With the stock removed and bolt open, is it normal for there to be a bit of wiggle where the barrel is pinned into the action?

I should add that at the time I had the adjustable threaded rod (found under the mag tube) backed off loose at the time. Should this make a difference?

It certainly might. Is there any play after you tightened it?

I've fully stripped a ot of old Cooey's and never found a loose barrel on one ...

Thanks all. I got too look at something other Cooeys and, not suprisingly, their barrels are all tight the way they should be. My Cooey is going back to the seller. Don't worry, it won't appear on the EE!
