Does anyone have any experience replacing the firing pin of a Cooey model 60? Mine chipped earlier today and now it has a tendency to burst cases and throw burning powder everywhere. Very not good. I assume that an entirely new bolt assembly would be the easiest, though most expensive, fix. Despite all of my best googling abilities, I can't find anything showing how the firing pin is replaced. Any advice would be strongly appreciated.

You might be in for an adventure.
It is not likely that you will find a NOS firing pin; likely have to make one.
Remove the bolt from the rifle.
Remove the extractor from the bolt.
Look for the firing pin retaining pin. Remove it.
I don't know if it will be necessary to remove the cocking piece/mainspring assembly to get at the rear of the firing pin.
If so, make a tool to unscrew the retaining collar.
Install replacement firing pin.
Reassemble.
If you want, I have a ratty bolt you can have for parts salvage/practice, for the postage.
