Gentlemen - I find myself in need of some of your expertise. A friend of mine asked me to "clean up" his .22 bolt action repeater - it's pretty rough. Apparently, so am I - I can't get the bolt out of the receiver. Normally, if I hold the trigger depressed, the bolt slides straight out. Not with this one. What am I doing wrong ? - or, more precisely, what should I be doing, to get the bolt out ? Thank you for your time.
 
It is kind of an interesting design. The whole tube magazine is attached to and moves with the bolt. This is partially why it feeds so reliably.

You need to remove the stock and detach the magazine from the bolt (as shown in the above and the below video).
