I have a few questions.
My grandfather had an old cooey model 60 repeater and it is in very rough shape. The stock is one off another rifle and looks to be wittled by an axe to fit(very rough shape.) and I have no idea when it happened but he lost the magazine tube and replaced it with a wooden stick.
I'm looking to restore this rifle back to its original state.
I found a magazine tube on the EE for a model 600, would this fit the model 60?
And I'm still looking for a stock that would fit, does any one know of a site that carries this style or should I just keep my eyes open on the EE?

According to my Winchester/Cooey parts book, it implies that the inner and outer tubes are not the same for a model 60 and 600. It says the tubes are longer on the 600. I don't know if it's possible to cut it down. As for the stock, I would look for a parts rifle with the stock and tubes, they are out there for cheap.

^You're almost better off buying another of the same make/model just for spare parts - then you would have to buy another to get the 2nd one going lol.

So far I have 2 Cooey #75's all in working order that were both in need of a lot of work when I initially got them.

The Cooey Ranger I bought was the same deal, but she is now a keeper :)
