I was given an old model 82 by a friend. Its in pretty rough shape but I was going to clean it up and use it as a beginner rifle for my boys. The problem is the catch on the bolt is pretty worn. It will still hold but its a hair trigger and a bump will let her go. I've got a post on EE but does anyone know of a supplier that might have one? I realize they have been out of production for a while.

Have someone build it up and dress it down if you can't find one.
the angle on the bolt can be filed to work better. I can do it for you. I have done some to lighten the trigger and some to make them safe. Other than that you can visit local gun show and buy one for $45. I bought many from one guy. He always has some.
I can never seem to find any rifles less than $100.
