Dear Cooey Enthusiasts, I have a hand-me-down Cooey Model that is shoot-the-lights out accurate but suffers from failure to eject. The ejector looks ok but only works once or twice in every 10 rounds and I have to carry a small screwdriver to coax out the spent shell. Is there a "Cooey Whisperer" about that could tell me how to get this working again. Many thanks in advance, AQBill.

:D

yes.. simply replace the extractor. They can be found on EE or Gun shows for around $20 or try another bolt. These are around $40.
saying that you are in Us right? Then look for EE exchange here in rimfire parts

If you buy another bolt it may need to be fitted and at the same time could be too loose !.I've had this happen a couple time buying cooey bolts.Your best off getting a new extractor and keeping the original bolt.
Just my 0.02 $.

changing it is simple but you most likely will break the old one. pry outward against the front to clear the bolt body then pull to the front to remove,. new one might be tricky but it just pushes in...
i have no idea on video

I just learned how to change these extracors too. If they still have good spring pressure in then I've found under cutting the edge a little to sharpen it with a cutting disc on the dremel works most of the time too. They are brittle though.
