Did Cooey make a model 84 12 gauge with a 28" barrel?
You have to allow for the chamber but if you are measuring from end to end the chamber will be included. As far as I know, Cooey never mass produced a 26" barrel. Lots of these have been cut down to get rid of the full choke as that was standard Cooey choking.I have run across a 26" and 30". If you break it open and measure from one end to the other is that your measurement or do you have to allow for the chamber?
$100.00 -$ 125
theres a 28g for 400 on the ee... not sure on barrel. D:
Not anymore...i just sold it. That particular gun had a 28" barrel.
Barrel lengths ranged from 26"-36". 12 and 16 gauge guns were most commonly available with 30" barrels. 20 and 28 gauge guns were most commonly equipped with 28" barrels and .410's commonly had 26" barrels
You did very well if you got your asking price. Almost makes me think about selling mine but nah, I'll hang onto it.
Lots of demand for the 28g....but im likely keeping the last one I have left.
I'd hang onto it. I have one 840 in 28 gauge and two 84's. I sold two 84's and two 840's in 28 gauge in the last couple of years so I think I'm keeping the ones I have left.
Havent heard of it. Stupid question, but you sure it wasnt a 16g barrel?Anyone seen a chamber that was undersized (12Ga) below SAMMI minimum? A later Sears branded model.
Was nice and shiny, which is why I misguidedly wasted all kinds of time fiddling with the ejector...Is the chamber clean. I have one that the shells would not eject period till I cleaned the crud out of it .
