Hey everyone. I recently was given an old model 84 Canadian for free. Its a 12 gauge. It was very rusted and the barrel was full of crud and the front stock was taped on and the firing pin was not there. Sound like a lot of work right. Well I ran a bore snake through and the bore was mint. Not one imperfection. Sweet I says to myself. Then sanded and ground my way to bare metal and cold blued. Then I sourced a $10 firing pin. So there is only one problem left. The stock locking part was broken of so Anybody know where I could source a new forestock? Any help would be great.

I actually have the spacer "the Metal one and found a fella that sells them made of aluminum locally"its the latch inside the fore stock that grabs the piece on the barrel that is broken. So either fix that piece or just get a hole new assembly I was thinking. But the gun was free and I could always just tape it back on lol.

I'm not sure of any aftermarket stocks, but I have seen used ones at gun shows, I bought a forestock a few years ago, I got a new old stock piece for $15.00, but I had to use my old latch assy.
