My daughter-in-law recently inherited a Cooey M. 840 12 guage single shot in absolutely excellent condition. Wondering if this gun has any collectable value and what it might be worth.

Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated.

Thanks
Ron

No collectible value really... they were made in Cougurg Ontario. They are nice guns, they are the decedent of the Cooey 84, which us more valuable. I have one in 16 ga and I love it. Tell her they're good reliable shotguns, but not especially valuable.

My Uncle knows a fella that collects Cooeys.
He has some rare and beautiful examples.
The best of which are worth upwards of $40-$50!

That's actually a joke my Uncle told me when I showed him the unfired 84 in 16ga I had picked up for $50

Mount Sweetness is about right...if it's REALLY nice...and .410 or 20ga ;)
