Cooey 'Ranger' Identification

I had noticed the gradual blend from Eatonia to Ranger and I think I mentioned it in an earlier post on this thread.
I think you are right, it probably was due to existing stock getting sold over time.
No idea about the "85", but the drawing does seem to suggest a magazine at the bottom. The french catalogs don't give a description like the english versions do either

Seems the 'Eatonia' were all the ones based on the early-gen Cooeys, like the 'Ace' and 'Canuck', with the fixed sights, while the 'Ranger' was the 75, 39, 60, etc.
 
Plain wood stock with no metal butt plate.

Bolt is smaller than the 39/75 bolt. Smaller diameter and shorter. Smaller ball also. Been a while since I had it out but I'm sure there are no rings on the ball either.
