Cooey repeater pump

Recently acquired my first cooey pump .22 and its not a very smooth action. As i have nothing to compare it to, just wondering if this is the norm or not.

,,,,,,,,,, Mine is the Early Model & has as smooth an action as you can expect from a factory modified M-60 .
Compared to all pumps & I have had most , it is not bad @ all. Maybe yours has an issue ?

Spray it down with Fluid Film.

They're crude. Oil on all contact surfaces helps for a while.

I own two of them and have video of one on YouTube. There rough modified bolt action. Go slow and firm.

I use a wire wheel on a bench grinder to remove all sort's of crap on the bolt and give it a cleaning. A shotgun bore brush would be used in the receiver

They #### on closing so that makes em a little tough to pump forward
