Im trying to find a magazine tube inner for buddy's cooey

the problem is the gun is not marked cooey, or winchester or anything actually, only the caliber .22 S, L and LR and a word "SURESHOT"

from what I saw on this site it could be a winchester but I have no idea which model, could anyone help?
will post pics if my description is too vague

Yes it s/b the same as model 60. To bad I just sold one last month. Not hard to get. Post an ad on Parts EE. Your gun was made on order for Simpson Sears. The earliest date was 1942. If you show a pic and include all the marking we s/b able to date it for you. The early ones didn't have the drilled and tapped for the side mount for a scope. As allready posted the winchester model 600 types had a different length tube----Cowboy

I borrowed the gun from a cop buddy of my, I dont think he knows that it may be a collectors item, other wise he wouldnt let me take it for a little hunt:), Im totally pissed of about loosing the inner tube, went up and down the trail, in 4 feet of snow 3times but no luck, I just hope a replacement wont lower its value;)

I wouldn't say it's a collectors item. It's a Cooey, tons of them were made in that configuration.....you should be able to find the parts you need without too much trouble....

I should have wrote "colectors item;)"
sorry,

I know there are plenty about, I think I may already found the part, now its just about geting it here

I really need to redue that stock, looks all bit up, but some linseed oil should make it more attractive

The first model 60 type repeaters actually had no model number, had a round knobby pistol grip and a 20" barrel(1931-32). The models between 1931-39 had a drive in dove tail rear elevated sight. After the war they used a slotted machine screw to attach the sight. In later yrs they went to a phillips type screw and receivers were drilled and tapped for side mount. My guess is your gun was made in the early 40's. ----Cowboy
