Cooeys

My model 75 was given to me because it had no bolt. Found one, tweeked the the rifle a bit, shoots very well.

My model 60, I built starting out with just a reciever I found in a five gallon pail. This one too shoots very well.

Bought a TOZ 17 brand new in 77 for $75.00. Shot more rats, gophers, rabbits and grouse than I can recall with that one.

I gave my younger friend (WhourGoul )a Cooey 75 in almost new condition ,just imagine not owning a 22lr, but I rectified that problem!

I still have my first gun a Cooey model 39 that my great uncle, who ran a local garbage dump ,gave me! Guess where the gun came from? You guessed it ,The DUMP!! he had the front sight straightened and brazed and straightened at the tireshop he worked at part time. I was 6 or 7 when me and my brother got this, WOW were we both excited! It funny my nephew (brother's son, 11year old) saw I had that and was real excited to shoot it even though I have so many more exciting 22's. I wonder what would happen if there was a company like Cooey building rifles like this today? cheers dale Z
