Drop 'em in your tumbler when you go to bed, and when you get home from work the next day they are nice and mirror polished. They're made from a very hard steel, so they take a while. Once they're done, they're smoooooth.

hey neat idea:D ..next time i get mine out i will try with a few brass/tons of media/and a gold ring, that has more crud on it then a mcdonald burgar:)

Tumbler cleaning or polishing is a standard industrial process. All sorts of tumbling media, from ceramics through steel slugs.

I throw my dies in the tumbler everytime I change calibers. I've been doing it for 15 years with the same Dillon dies. I've never had a problem.

Sounds like its time for me to purchase a tumbler/polisher. Any suggestions as to which one?:)

Lyman Auto-Flo - you pull a plug out of the side, leave it running for a few minutes with a bucket to catch the media, and it magically shakes all the media out of the cases. Forget gadgets for separating, let your tumbler do it for you. Leave the cases long enough and it will even empty out .223's.
