This is not strictly a Milsurp topic, but I did find this in an old Mauser Stock (a "Geha" shotgun stock made up from a M98 Mauser). It was under a loose Geha "Medallion" in a stock I am preparing for "the ugliest sporter in Canada" ("RR" knows what I mean - more to follow in a few weeks
).
Seems a Mr. William Tett of Newboro Ontario wanted to show ownership of the shotgun back in August 1937. I contacted a second cousin of his who lives in the area, and Mr. Tett died just a month ago in Brockville where he passed his final days.
I got a real charge out of this and hope you will too.
