Cool new AK type shotgun from Turkey

This shotgun may hit Canadian market anytime. According to one of the dealers that stocks Trigger Wholesale products there is already 50 of them in Canada ready for sale anytime they have FRT approved.

I'll donate $100 to the CSSA legal fund if you can get Trigger Wholesale to post a picture of those 50 guns showing the factory label on the box and the contents.

To get the import certificate, you need to specify what you are bringing in.
DFAIT don't like mystery or being lied to, so they want the FRT# for each firearm.
You can get an IIC for a gun without an FRT as a sample for the RCMP.
You would have to sing and dance pretty hard to get 50 samples.

It sounds like BS to me.

So , people really think that the same "experts" that deemed the mosberg blaze 47 an AK variant are going to give this a non-restricted frt?

They will never be sold in Canada. What, exactly, about: "AK = Prohib" do some folks not get? Given the source on this one - don't hold your breath, don't save your pennies, don't fool yourself into wanting one - IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.

What are they smoking in the shop at Trigger?

I watched that vid, and the detailed dis-assemble... They'll never get an FRT for that thing.

I would have figured the same for the ATRS Modern Rifle and Varmint.

I agree.

That shotgun in the video looks like pure Saiga/AK design to me.

And I'm not just talking about exterior cosmetics here. All of the internals look exactly the same.

It will not hit our market with the name "AK" style shotgun if the RCMP have their way. Why do importers continue to promote firearms with a particular name when it has zilch to do with the namesake?
