Cool picture moose Vs deer

James brought home a library book today and we were looking thru it and this picture was in it. Thought we'd share it with you. Anyone ever seen this in real life?

Only thing that reminds me of, is the Orcas takig deer off the rocks.

Dead serious. Not the resident pods of course ( they eat just fish), but the transient pods that go from the arctic down towads california have been known to take deer of the rocks, accounts of them taking moose swimming from island to island. Nasty buggers

The Moose catches Parelaphostrongylus tenuis and the deer wins the fight.

All the deer needs to do is get just one of the mooses balls with those tines and its "looky looky balls on hooky"...the deer looks pissed

Doesn't look much like a fight ... more like a little friendly pushing .

Orcas/deer ... why not ... alot further south they'll go right up on the beach shore to grap a big seal coming out of the water. Don't think I'd want to swim around in a wet suit or sit on the rocks in such an area either !!!

thats awesome, that muley has some guts LOL. I think if the moose was serious he'd just plow right over the deer
