Hey guys,

Came across this on the web, looks pretty slick. Similar to the nea 870 adapter but different. Anyone know what it is and if its a complete stock?

It's a Vltor stock with casv rail system
There's one for sale at a killer price in EE right now (if it hasn't sold yet)

Nea makes a copy of that one though. But I don't think I'd use any crap from them if you paid me. Too many problems with every single thing I've used of theirs.

Their 870 buttstock adaptor has proven to work extremely well for DIY m14 "CQB" modstocks.
Way cheaper than a vltor and probably stronger if done right.
See the M14s 2500 round review and DIY modstock thread.

If you want the rail features , you can order the Vltor stuff and attach it. Or just get the Vltor complete with the rails.
Guy has one in EE for 750.00 that's a really good deal for someone right there.
 
Oh yeah without a doubt sweet deal on EE but don't have cash right now for it. I also saw the thread for 870 adapter and its cool as s**t but what concerns me is the low cheek weld. I have high cheek bone and hate nothing more than having to keep my head of the stock for proper sight picture

I thought they were only about 500 or 600 new? I know the ee one comes with extra but I didn't look much, I figured a decent deal on vltor would be about 400 stock only though

Maybe I missed something and they only make the adapter, not sure. I just know I have seen two guys who's advertised their gun as having an nea stock and it looked just like the Vltor one, or at least Damn close
 
NEA doesn't make any m14 stocks.
People buy the adaptor meant for an 870 and build the stock themselves out of a chinese plastic stock.
I've only made 2 that way. All the other modstocks I've made (100 or more) have used a proprietory in house made adaptor based of a stormwerks AR180 adaptor.

Maybe check out armtac's price on what the guy is selling for 750. (600 for stock, 390 for handguard , tax n shipping)
