Got my Coonan today, tought it would be a good idea to compare it to my Les Baer and my Desert Eagle 44 mag...
First the Coonan is only a tiny bigger than a 1911 like the LB, now if you compare it to the DE that is basicly a monster, you can see that it is almost like a regular 1911...
The trigger of the Coonan is awsome, as good as my LB and the reset is short and crisp...
All are saying the mag is hard to load, as you can see it's not harder than a regular mag, everything is solid, loading and extracting are positive...
This pistol i am gonna like for sure when i get to the range... JP.

While I'm certainly no safety Nancy, loading your handgun in your kitchen isn't exactly a smart move. And if those are inert rounds (which they don't appear to be, mind you the video quality is ####e) then you need to get inert rounds that don't look like live rounds at a glance.

If you're going to do stupid sh*t, just don't post videos on the internet. Unless you punch a round through your fridge - definitely post that.

I will buy a new fridge, in stainless... JP.
 
Those are dummy rounds filled with sand, i have them in a dozen of calibers to check operation of my firearms, dont get all worked out... JP.
 
as soon as i saw the video i knew some knob was going to put on the safety nazi suit and ##### about using live rounds or rounds that look live in a gun....

Clobbersauras - you're right, it's not worth it. If it needs to be explained why having inert rounds that look exactly like live rounds is a bad idea the chances of getting the point across are nill.

I should have just done the usual CGN nut swing, or commented how "nice" a trigger looks based on a video. Should be good for 1/4 moa at 150 yards freestyle, eh?
 
For all the ones that felt unconfortable with the video, it's now deleted and will be replaced by a shorter version... JP.
