Just wondering if it's worth it? Any experiences with her? 357 but can shoot 38 special.

A bit of a beast but soooooo nice looking. Are they hard to find?

I have one and I love it. You need a hand that is a bit larger than average to wrap around the grip.
The recoil is not bad. The action absorbs a lot of it. More than a .45 ACP of course.
I've only shot .357 through mine. Yes, it can shoot .38 SPL but only +P. Commercial +P isn't terribly abundant.

I got mine through Wanstalls. From what I have seen, they are the ones with the best prices.
I waited a long time for an order after letting one go that sat in the store for a while.
If the price doesn't bother you and the large grip isn't a problem, you won't regret it. It is a beautifully crafted gun.

Bullseye in London On has one now for 2500.

I had one for a while. I really liked it. Accurate and totally reliable with factory 357 ammo (avoid aluminum CCI ammo though). It was surprisingly soft shooting as well. The grip frame is a little longer obviously but not as bad as many think it will be. Just don't expect it to feel like a 1911. The only con I'd note is that the fit and finish aren't quite as nice as other 1911s or pistols in the same range, but still not bad. I'd recommend one, and might get another in the future.

$2000k tops I'd say, depending on usage and what it comes with. Extra mags are 80-100. The aluminum grips are particularly nice i think.

Always wanted one, maybe one day. Would be nice to try one out first though. Not sure if the novelty would wear off or if it would see as much use as my other 1911s
