Cooper range results

My SK Standard Plus loads arrived from Hirsch Precision,so I shot a few groups with my Cooper 22lr to verify the accuracy.At 50 yards,five shot groups under 1/2" were easy despite the +5 temps and 19km wind.I have no doubt that the rifle is capable of even better accuracy,but I am not willing to spend the high price of top end match ammunition to prove it.The SK Standard Plus loads are under $500 per 5000,and offer good accuracy for a reasonable price.

Smooth action,well balanced,and very crisp trigger.Best of all,the stock fits me perfectly.They are pricey,but I don't regret buying any of my Coopers.

I have an identical rifle in 17Mach2 on the way.I just sold my Cooper Classic in 17Mach2 to a friend in order to replace it with another Jackson hunter.On calm days,the 17Mach2 easily shoots 3/4" at 100 yards with some 1/2" groups mixed in.

My only problem now is that I don't shoot my 10/22 that I just built very much because I much prefer shooting the Cooper.

Try SK Pistol Match Special, they give me the tightest groups of all the SK ammo and very low SDs.

I am still waiting for my Jackson Hunter in 17Mach2,I hope that it arrives soon,as I want to get out and do some gopher elimination myself.
