Cooper rifles, are they worth it?

Worth every penny. I was really going to go the custom route but the wait and extra money was put into a Cooper M52, and better optics instead. Now that I have the Cooper in hand, I could not be more happy with it's quality, fit and finish. I think the only way to get a nicer, or better quality rifle would be to go full custom. It would be nice if Cooper offered a magnum length receiver for the big boomers, but I'm sure one will come along in time.
Another thing to consider is what you want to do with the rifle in the future. Cooper has next to no after market parts for it compared to Remington, or Savage. Having said that you are less likely to need to replace anything if the rifle is what you want out of box.
For the money I think you would be very hard pressed to find something better. I like mine a lot.

I know a couple of people that have smaller caliber Coopers (19 calhoon and a 17 something or other) accuracy has been excellent, however one of the fellows I know quite well had an issue with a broken extractor not long after getting the gun and had to wait quite some time for a replacement part. I think it is fair to say though, that these are pretty darned close to custom guns. For the level of accuracy (They provide a target shot with your very rifle) , fit and finish, Yes, I think they are worth the price - if that is your cup of tea.

Coopers are a great value new and have good resale value....Hard to beat in IMHO.

If you see the value in BMW, Audi and Lexus, you will enjoy the Cooper.
If you prefer to get a Mustang or Honda, hot rod it and smoke the above in driving performance, then you will likely find the Cooper a bit high brow.
You will spend the same amount of money...

I've got a left-handed LVT in 17HMR. Custom options of skeleton grip cap and neidner butt plate. Took 16 months from order to delivery but was well worth the wait. Gorgeous rifle and extremely accurate. Highly recommend them.

You better off build you own 260rem, at the end you will spend less and have what you wanted, I already did 2 260 for myself, and there is more on the way, using rem700SA is a start out, and for 2K you will have better looking stock than the wooden one!...

I've been looking very closely at them and may yet take the plunge if I can talk myself into the expense. My biggest detriment, aside from deciding to spend the $$$, iis the single shot on the varmint rifles. Not a huge deal but an internal box mag even would be nice although you may sacrifice some accuracy getting away from the single shot.
