cooper rifles, thoughts anyone

so im looking at getting a cooper phoniex or jackson in .243 a model 54 repeater iv have been a long time sako fan but these coopers seem pretty dam nice. does anyone have any experience with these? are they all there cracked up to be?

I have owned five Coopers, and I currently have two more on order. They are well designed rifles, and the fit & finish is very good. They really shine where accuracy is concerned, and they will stand behind their 1/2" accuracy guarantee. I myself much prefer the fit of the Jackson Hunter, over the Excalibur, but I do have a Phoenix Model 54 in 260 on order.

I have a Jackson hunter as well. Shoots amazing and It's a great rifle all around. Only thing is it's a tad heavy for packing around. Good thing I'm no sheep hunter. Try one out I bet you will like it.

I bought a varmint laminate in 6mm Rem last spring. I will have more Coopers in the gun cabinet very soon.

I have an M22 Varminter in 25-06AI, great rifle and will be buying more. Thats the only downside, buy one and then just gotta have another and another...

My dad has a cooper in a 280AI and its a dream.the only bad thing about the rifle is that its not balanced nicely,however thats F-All.one thing I love about the rifle is that it sits nicely somehow on your shoulder when u are walking around while hunting.for being a heavy rifle I dont notice its weight while hunting just because it carrys so nice with a sling.

I just ordered a cooper custom classic model 56 ,in a 7mm stw.

When I wake up everyday its the first thing that I think about!

I just cant wait until it arrives.

My question is why does cooper not make anything in 300win mag? I think im set on getting a 300wm for my elk gun this year. Want a cooper, but think ill settle for a sako 85 i guess.

Thats true, but I still haven't gotten into reloading yet. I figure the WinMag is easier to find.

I think im a lil slow. It seems they have a 300WM in most rifles, I just never scrolled down the list far enough.

Have they always made 300WM's? Ive never seen one for sale before.

The magnum cartridges are a new introduction. Good luck finding one on the shelves in the near future, they will still be building sold orders for a while.
