Copper Fouling

Do you need to worry about copper fouling as much as in a rifle, if you're shooting copper jacketed pistol bullets from a muzzleloader?

Aren't they encased in a plastic sabot? I would have thought that it would be the plastic residue that would be the problem.

The are a couple bore-size jacketed options and in that case you should likely do a copper cleaning occasionally.
