Copying Military 7.62x51 cartridge for FAMAE 542

My M80 ball clone uses any 150gr FMJ with 43gr of H4895 in a milsurp case.
Cases that are milsurp include DA, IVI and lake city.
In commercial cases you may have to bump it up a grain or 2 as they have more internal capacity.
This gets about 2750fps in an M14 22” barrel and is very close to milspec
 
So has anyone tried to handload for accuracy in this rifle? All my reloading experience is around bolt action rifles, so I wonder where should I start..
