looks very interesting, the only thing people might not like it big ass logo on lower receiver and that is not made in Canada, otherwise it's a good competition to NEA15

Spec wise the $1065 14.5" NEA with quad rail seems better; am I missing something obvious.

The CORE-15s 7075 aluminum costs more -- a LOT more -- than NEAs 6061. It doesn't work any better in this use, some competitors use polymer, but it looks good on paper.

Nobody has really seen the NEA base model, from what I understand there are no sights and no magazine included for their $1000.00 rifle. Does the Core15 base model come with sights and magazine? The specs of the Core15 looks good and it has a 16" barrel which interests me. Should be interesting how this battle of the $1000.00 AR plays out.

Agreed, I might have to sell my soul and my first born to afford all these great products.

What we really liked was that the CORE 15 uppers and lowers are built in house as a complete set. No mix and match, they're machined as a unified upper and lower receiver. Another a big thing for us was the fact that the Complete Rifle including all the internals are American made. That and the Lifetime Manufactures Warranty gave us a warm fuzzy feeling!

The Core is def. looking better and esp. with it being avail now. Gonna say had all things being equal would buy from the country that shall not be named. But then Gary and WAN is great team to deal with.
Hmm, let's see an American made ar from a company with military contracts or a nea with mystery parts from a country that shall not be named

Is it just me or does the bolt catch stop working half way through the test? For the first mags he used the bolt catch to reload, for the last mags he uses the charging handle. Am I missing something?

Definitely looks like there is a problem chambering a round on a fresh mag when the gun starts to get hot which is why he has to use the charging handle.

At the same time (while you have them on the line)...are you able to get the short barreled options that Core-15 lists on their website? I see them under the LE/mil. banner but thought I'd ask anyhow...

Same price as the states and we've been told all this time that this is an impossible feat. Guess I know which retailer I can trust now. Thanks for this and expect alot of business from me and anyone I talk too
