Core AR-15 not loading from clip

At the range today. Put about 60 rounds through the gun no problem. Not shooting fast, I was sighting in a new EOTECH. So say, an hour to put 60 rounds through. The gun then starts to jam regularly. After a few of those, it stopped picking the bullets up from the clip. I'm not a tech savvy guy when it comes to these things. Where do I start or is this common?

I assume that by clip you mean magazine Did you try other magazine? that could fix the problem. It might be bad feed lips on a particular mag. If it make no difference then I think you might need somebody to take a closer look at the rifle or maybe even post some close up pictures of the internals.
I Hope everything is good and its just the mag.

Spring could be hanging up on the rivet, causing it to lose spring tension.

What type of mags were you using? Pmags, XCR, LAR15, AT-15?

Using Pmags. Did it on 2 of them. Gun was cleaned and lubed after last use.

AR's should be run wet, if it was cleaned and lubed after last use, the lube has run out of the gun, or pooled where it isn't needed (receiver extension). Did an IA get the mag/gun running again, or did it continue to malf?

Sounds like its a lubrication problem since its been mentioned by two responders. I'll give that a try and go from there.

Pmags fit a little more snug then gi ones in most cases. Smack it upward on the mag when you load it to ensure a good seating. Pulling down on the mag after to ensure a good seat.

If that isnt the issue i would check the bolt face and the bolt lugs for damage.
