Trying to age a couple older cooey's I have.
First one... - has slot head screws - only says cooey repeater cal 22 model 60 on the barrel , the magazine tube only takes one twist/turn to get it out.My grandfather's old guy, he passed away 10+ years ago at 94,very accurate, better than the new 10/22 I just bought not sure if that helps age it.
Second - a friend gave it to me...stocks shot, broke in 3 places, barrel and trigger assembly seem fine except for cosmetic, some on the barrel (glue?)...has holes in it for a scope, Phillips screws , says sureshot on the barrel 22 cal S-1-1, doesn't say model 60 , have to twist the magazine twice to get it out.
I know the first one is older just wondering if there are ways to narrow down the years.
Would like to get a replacement stock and see how the second one shoots as well.
